Aren is proudly from Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. His passion for running, inclusiveness, health and community wellness are some of the main reasons he became a Physiotherapist. He truly believes that movement is the best medicine and is excited to start delivering this message here at Westcoast SCI.
As a Physiotherapist, Aren’s treatment approach is grounded in building a positive environment around you while respecting your unique situational needs. He uses a client-specific approach that focuses on client education, graded exercise programs that are specific to you, and manual therapy to help empower clients to move safely, confidently, and freely so that they can live their lives the way they want to. Aren has had experience working in a variety of settings that include, Orthopaedics, Intensive Care Unit, Acute Medicine and has treated a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries such as low back pain, knee, ankle and foot pain, and shoulder/neck pain. Finally, Aren has a preferred area of interest in the treatment of runners. Whether you’re new to running or have been running for many years, Aren is looking forward to providing you with the knowledge and tools that can help you manage and prevent injuries so that you can move and run free.

Growing up Jack always knew he wanted to become a Physiotherapist. Upon graduating, Jack honed his skills working across a whole spectrum of hospital and rehabilitation settings, while also as a pitch side Physiotherapist in semi-professional rugby. Jack has worked with a wide variety of clients including; professional and olympic athletes, the everyday warriors, postpartum and the elderly.

Jelena graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science and a Master’s degree in Physiology and Pharmacology before pursuing her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. After completing her research degree, Jelena wanted to use her research skills in a clinical setting. As an active individual who has a passion for nutrition and fitness, physiotherapy quickly became the career path that allowed her to combine all of her interests.
Jelena has gained experience with clients in a variety of clinical settings ranging from geriatrics to athletes.
